Our Story

Cork2Glass began not just with a passion for wine, but with a sense of wonder — the kind you feel when discovering something for the very first time. For us, that moment came as curious immigrants newly arrived from South India to the United States, standing in front of a supermarket shelf lined with rows of colorful wine bottles. What started as curiosity quickly blossomed into a lifelong journey of exploration — through wineries across the country, long dinners with friends, and quiet evenings where wine, food, and music came together in perfect harmony.

That journey took an unexpected and delightful turn when we started our first home winery — inside a bedroom closet. From fermenting grape juice to corking and labeling our own “Happy Grapes” bottles, those early experiments were joyful acts of discovery that deepened our love for wine and its power to bring people together.

Fast forward 25 years, countless tastings, rich experiences, and a few wine certifications later, and that same passion led us to a bold new vision: to create a wine bar where music, community, culture, and conversation could flourish over a favorite vinyl soundtrack playing in the background over a shared glass.

In 2024, we found the perfect spot to bring Cork2Glass to life — right in the heart of Cedar Park, Texas. After months of planning, research, and tasting, we opened our doors with one simple goal: to offer a space where wine lovers and curious newcomers alike could connect, unwind, and explore exceptional wines in an inviting, relaxed setting.
